FAQs
FAQs
What's the process when getting a custom build?
The process always starts with a conversation, so get in touch and tell us about your Dream Bike, and we can advise on the best way to make that dream a reality. The next step is to put down a deposit (at least 50%) - this will get the product secured or ordered under your name and the build process underway. We'll be in touch as the build progresses with any updates.
Want to Carry More?
With a wide range of frame and fork-mounted rack systems on the market, and with more appearing every week, it is not possible for us to know exactly which racks will be compatible. Before mounting a rack to your frame or fork, we strongly recommend you get in touch with us for our advice. We will do our best to verify compatibility.
This will minimise the risk of injury, product damage and voiding your warranty. Your local Curve dealer, or the team at Curve HQ, can also help you select a rack system and mount it to your bike for you.
In general, M5 mounts on chainstays and seatstays will accept racks of various types, and the maximum approved weight to carry on a rack is 20kg (or less, depending on the rack rating).
Note: This rating is for smooth roads & gravel. For anything rougher, the weight limit decreases. Use careful discretion when gauging how much weight to carry on rough gravel or off-road adventures.
What payment options are there?
We accept payment in the form of credit card, Pay Pal and EFT. If you'd prefer to pay for your Curve bike or product in multiple payments, please contact us for an invoice with payment options attached.
How long will my order take to ship?
Some products can be shipped immediately and normally land within 10-15 business days. Other products will have a lead time depending on supply levels and build time. As a guide, complete bikes normally take 3-4 weeks, custom wheel builds take 2–3 weeks, and custom frames take 3-6 months, plus shipping time.
All our complete bikes are assembled and tuned before being packed safely for shipping (unless agreed otherwise). This means that you will not have to cut the chain, bleed brakes or set up and tune gears. However, in order for us to fit the bike in the box, some parts will have to come off. This means that some assembly is needed once you receive your new bike.
- Fit the front wheel
- Fit the handlebars on the stem (torque wrench needed)
- Fit the seatpost and adjust the saddle height and angle to your preference
- Fit the rear derailleur and chain *
- Fill sealant in tubeless tyres
* We realise that fitting the derailleur and chain may be something you're not comfortable doing yourself. We leave these parts off and pack them separately in the box to protect the bike and derailleur. The rear derailleur is one of the more expensive components on the bike, and we do not want you to receive your bike with a bent hanger, a broken or damaged derailleur, and/or a scratched chainstay due to chain rattle.
Lighter and Sleeker
The Belgie ULTRA has thinner 16 mm seat stay tubing and an updated tapered head tube, resulting in a sleeker frame design and considerable weight savings.
At 1630 grams, the Belgie ULTRA 56 frame is 180 grams lighter than the previous model
Stability and Improved Geometry
Longer chainstays, front centre, and overall wheelbase across all sizes. A taller stack and extended reach help make the ULTRA more comfortable on day-long rides. This also helps minimise pesky toe overlap when using a wider tyre.
The ULTRA features our Race 370 fork, resulting in tyre clearance of up to 33 mm.
Bento Box + Extra Storage Space
The Belgie ULTRA features Bento Box mounting points on the top tube allowing riders to secure belongings in most bolt-on bike bags. We have also increased the size of the front triangle, allowing more storage capacity for top tube frame bags and water bottles.
There is ample room for bikepacking bags on all frameset sizes. To make sure current, prospective or custom bagging fits your frame size please see our Bagmaker Drawing page.
Mechanical versus Electric
Thanks to some improvements in engineering, the Belgie frame is now compatible with both electronic and mechanical gear systems. So you can now have your pick of eTap, Di2, or standard mechanical options.
Invest In Happiness
Curve titanium frames come with a Lifetime Warranty so that you can be sure the bike you love most will be the bike you love longest. We design every Curve product at our Abbotsford headquarters, then test them out in the real world, under the most demanding conditions.

| Please Note: | Important Note: Please be aware that due to the steerer length of the Ride 370 fork (300mm), when paired with Ultra frames in sizes 61 and 64 only 10mm and 0mm of spacers will fit under the stem, respectively, due to the longer headtubes (61 cm - 240 mm, 64 cm - 250 mm). If more stack is needed, an alternate fork with a longer steerer tube may be required. Please Contact Us to talk through possible options if this may affect you. |

If you are building your Curve frameset with a self-supplied groupset, please see the specification guide via the link below to ensure the necessary parts are sufficiently compatible with our framesets.
The specification details may change over time. Please check HERE for the latest version.
